Welcome to today’s video! In this tutorial, I will guide you through using Apollo.io to download and source leads for your client’s target prospects. We’ll start by navigating the Apollo dashboard. To apply filters and find prospects, click on “Search” and then “People” on the top left. We’ll use a sample filter provided by your client, focusing on job titles such as CEO, president, and founder. These are key decision-makers we aim to target.
Next, we’ll filter by the number of employees, focusing on small to medium-sized businesses in the restaurant industry. We’ll specify the location as the United States and include the restaurant industry while excluding any unwanted keywords like fast food chains. Additionally, we’ll ensure the email status is set to verified for accuracy.
Once all filters are applied, save the search to keep things organized. Create a new list for the leads, similar to adding items to a shopping cart. For this example, we’ll name it “Training Sample Restaurant Leads” and include relevant details like the date and filters used. This helps maintain order and track your sourcing activities.
After creating the list, return to the filtered search results. Select and save the desired leads to your list. You can save up to 100 leads at a time, depending on your client’s plan. Once saved, refresh the prospects to update the numbers, ensuring accuracy.
Next, export the leads to your preferred storage service, such as Google Drive. Customize the export settings to include essential columns like first name, last name, company, email address, and website. This step saves time and avoids unnecessary data.
To verify and clean the leads, use a cleaning tool. Import the uncleaned leads from Apollo, select the “Clean My List” option, and clean the leads. The tool verifies the data, providing you with deliverable and valid leads, ensuring higher accuracy in your outreach.
Check the available credits on your client’s Apollo account to manage usage effectively. Each client typically has around 10,000 monthly email credits. Synchronize leads between multiple Apollo accounts by importing sourced leads from one account to another. This prevents duplicates and maintains an organized workflow.
By following these steps, you can efficiently source and manage leads using Apollo.io, ensuring a streamlined process for your client’s prospecting needs. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out. Cheers!
